Bridge to the Future Grant

Drexel University is pleased to announce its Bridge to the Future Grant program, which will help displaced workers in the Sacramento Valley bridge these difficult economic times and prepare for the future economic growth in the region. The Bridge Grant program is part of Drexel University's commitment to full partnership with Greater Sacramento. Bridge Grants are half-tuition scholarships for qualified applicants who will begin their graduate studies in September 2009 or later at Drexel's Center for Graduate Studies.

To qualify for a Bridge to the Future Grant, applicants must:

  • Be accepted into and enroll in September 2009 or later in a Drexel graduate program as a new first-time student at the Center for Graduate Studies
  • Be enrolled for a minimum of two courses (six credits) per quarter term
  • Have been laid off after December 2007 from full-time employment and have not secured employment
  • Complete a Bridge Grant application
